Jennifer Ellison's latest role as Roxie Hart in the world famous musical, Chicago, showcases her singing, dancing and acting talents. The 22 year old Liverpool born actress will once again take on the lead role of Roxie Hart in the popular London musical.
Jennifer Ellison was born in Liverpool in May, 1983. A dancer from the age of 3, Jennifer was always determined to be famous. She secured a place at the prestigious Royal Ballet School and is a classically-trained ballet dancer. Jennifer first hit the small screen at the age of 14 as Emily Shadwick in popular television soap, Emmerdale. She quickly became one of the most popular characters and stayed at the show for 5 years. Jennifer also played a key role in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's film version of The Phantom of the Opera.
Jennifer Ellison first took on the role of Roxie Hart of 2004 and played to full houses at the Adelphi Theatre. Chicago remains very popular with theatre-goers today and Jennifer will be welcomed back into the cast. The last time this young actress played Roxie, audiences were wowed by her sheer energy and enthusiasm for the role as well as by her singing, dancing and acting talents.
