Perhaps, most famous for his role as Johnny in the global blockbuster Dirty Dancing, Patrick Swayze has built up an impressive CV consisting of dancing, theatre, film and television. After starring in the 1987 hit, Dirty Dancing, Patrick Swayze has become a household name. His acting credits are innumerable and include films such as Ghost and Point Break. The Texas born actor, now in his 50's is still the object of millions of women's affections. Patrick Swayze has starred in many theatre productions before taking on this role in Guys and Dolls

Patrick Swayze grew up with dancing and performing in his life, his mother - Patsy Swayze - is a famous choreographer in her own right. Patrick attended various dance schools including the prestigious Joffrey Ballet Company and the Harkness Ballet Theater School in New York. Patrick Swayze is also a singer/songwriter. Most famously, Patrick wrote and performed, 'She's Like The Wind,' the international hit single from Dirty Dancing.
