Associate Director People
Since 2011 Carolyne Creed has transformed the performance and development landscape at Holiday Extras and she was promoted to the role of associate director in 2014.
The company has always had a strong focus on developing teams, however Carolyne's passion for harnessing internal talent and raising the performance bar resulted in the opening of a state-of-the-art Academy in August 2013.
The Academy is specifically designed for teams working at Holiday Extras and the mission is to Create a centre for driving learning, collaboration and innovation to foster a high performance culture. There are a number of leadership, management and personal development workshops on offer and other events include: a coaching clinic, book club, mentoring programme, networking events and language classes.
The Academy has been instrumental in ensuring the culture and values of Holiday Extras are integral to the day to day work-life.

What's your perfect hassle-free holiday?
My perfect hassle-free holiday involves the sun and lots of culture and history to explore. I love experiencing new places and feel that every holiday should be an adventure where you challenge yourself to try something new.
I find inspiration in many places, including music and technology. I also have a huge amount of respect for people who are brave enough to challenge the norm, be creative and stay curious.
