Group Finance Director of Holiday Extras®
Cathy started her accounting career at Oxford University Press where she worked and qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in 1996.
Joining ABC as group financial controller in 1999, she managed the integration of their finance systems. Cathy was promoted to finance director for Holiday Extras in 2005, and was part of the team that led the management buy-out of the company that year. Cathy is now group finance director. She enjoys the open culture and team spirit that is an integral part of working at Holiday Extras.
As well as Holiday Extras UK, Cathy is involved in the German operation, travelling out to the HQ in Munich and other operating locations regularly.
Cathy and her husband, Jonathan, enjoy the outdoors, and can be found in the hills and mountains skiing or walking, or on the Kent lanes with their orange tandem. Since the arrival of their two sons, it has become a convoy with Marcus on the seat and Oliver in the trailer.
