Purple Parking's fifty-strong team of passionate parkers take pride in quickly, efficiently and safely parking two million cars a year. They also take pride in offering amazing value for money and plenty of good old-fashioned customer service. That's why Airparks has one of our highest levels of repeat custom.
Airparks Gatwick is easy to find, perched on the edge of the runway, just follow our directions, use our map or put your postcode into our directions finder. And when you arrive, parking is easy too. Simply pull up in the arrivals bay, check in at reception and hop on one of the comfortable, brand new buses to the airport - ten minutes to the north terminal or fifteen to the south terminal.
One of Airparks' fully insured, professional drivers will park your car for you, in one of over four and a half thousand spaces, and look after it until you return. There are regular patrols and your car is insured all the time it's with them. It'll be ready and waiting in one of the departures bays when you step off the transfer bus.
If you don't want to waste a minute of your holiday, you might want to try out some of Airparks' extra-special time-saving services. They can meet you at the terminal and drive your car to Airparks while you stroll to check-in, keep your car under cover while you're away, bring your car back to the terminal when you return or clean your car, inside and out. You can add any of these options when you check out.
You need to rethink case storage on buses. Lifting & stacking with the present system is extremely difficult.Mr Hood (Gatwick Airparks)
We would definitely do this again. It was the first time we chose to use the services and we were not disappointed/Mr Harding (Gatwick Airparks)
we booked our airport parking through holiday extras, it went very smoothly and was no hassle at all! just paked the car up, showed them the paperwork then jumped straight onto a coach to the airport.Miss Askwith (Gatwick Airparks)
Staff at carpark were very helpful and clear with their insructions. There was a bus waiting and on the way home we didn't have to wait either. Very simple and smooth.Ms Bowen (Gatwick Airparks)
Staff were very helpful and car was ready for collection on time.Ms Arthur (Gatwick Airparks)
We were also given good directions to Airparks, which proved invaluable, and the buses to and from the airport terminal were clean, comfortable, and frequent.

Arrival at Gatwick Airparks
Park in one of the arrivals bays, take note of the number and head to reception to check in. You'll need to present a copy of your booking confirmation, drop your keys in the red box for the correct number lane and you'll be given a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it later. It will also have instructions on the back for when you return.
You car will be parked for you while you catch the bus from the waiting area to the airport and your keys will stay with the car park while you're away. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver.
Getting to and from Gatwick airport
Park your car at Purple Parking, then take one of the transfer buses to the airport. It takes just 10 to 15 minutes to get to the airport, which is 5 miles from Purple Parking. Buses run every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, and call at North terminal and then the South terminal. When you arrive, there's no need to worry about navigating through the airport traffic from the drop-off because there's a purpose-built area for the drop-off buses. So when you arrive at the airport it's just a short walk on the pavement to the terminal.
After your holiday, catch the Purple Parking transfer bus from the drop-off area at the terminal back to Purple Parking. Buses leave from bay 6 or 7 from the North terminal, and bay 7 or 8 from the South terminal.
The new buses are all fitted with seatbelts and have plenty of room for all of your luggage. They lower so you can get on and off easily, and to accommodate wheelchairs. Transfers are included in the price.
On your return to Gatwick Airparks
Catch the transfer bus from where you were dropped off. You'll need to show the ticket you were given at check-in to the driver. If you're at the North terminal, turn right out of the terminal, follow the signs to the bus stop and catch your bus at stop 6 or 7. If you're at the South terminal, go out of the terminal, head down to the ground level, turn right and catch your bus at stop 7 or 8. Once you've been whisked back to your car, collect your keys from reception, drive to the exit and scan the barcode attached to your keys at the exit barrier to get out.
If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. We can't offer you a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.
We recommend that you give yourself 45 minutes to drop your car and keys off and transfer to the airport.
When you enter the car park, your car will need to stop in a camera tunnel so that it can be photographed for safety. This has a height limit of 1.8 metres. The car park also can't accept motorbikes or scooters, commercial vehicles, minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or vehicles with trailers.
