"Your lady on the end of the phone saved the day. We were stuck at Gatwick airport because of snow and initially she told us there were no hotel vacancies nearby. But she kept our number and when she had a cancellation she was kind enough to phone us back to offer us the rooms." / 10

Only downsides were room smelling of stale cigarettes (previous quests obviously smoked out of the window - fag butts on ground), and the minor issue that the price on the website wasn't actually available, so I had to phone Holiday Extras to get the right one." / 10

"Sofitel hotel was very comfortable, and convenient for the North Terminal. The meet and greet service was first class. They collected and returned our car within 10 minutes each way. Much easier than waiting around in the cold, hoping a bus will turn up to take you back to the long stay car park. Would definitely use the service again, if we fly from Gatwick." / 10

"There was a power cut at the Ramada Gatwick shortly before we arrived meaning the computer systems had crashed. Even so, the staff checked us in smoothly and quickly. At the Airparks, my car was left with them to park and was waiting for me when we arrived back from Florida within only a few steps from the bus. Excellent." / 10

Great convenience. Only one complaint. When I paid cash for the drinks in the Sofitel they gave me a mexican 10pesos coin in the change instead of a £2 coin. They are almost identical. "We booked at the last minute because of the severe weather so that we were close to Gatwick and no chance of missing our flight. Staff were very helpful on arrival and rooms were really nice and clean. My only negative comment is that we couldn't turn off the air conditioning and the noise did keep me awake. At the end of the holiday we did have to wait for our car to be delivered back at the hotel but this was due to the fact we arrived a little earlier than anticipated. "The staff were very helpful, the airport transfer service worked well both ways with only minimal waiting time. The only criticism is that the hotel did not have an elevator, and so we had to carry our suitcases up and down 4 flights of stairs. Otherwise, very happy with the hotel and the price paid." / 10

"I had been looking online for a hotel at Gatwick Airport found one then when I went to book it, it had gone, called the reservations team, they said that their allocation had been used but they called the hotel and I got it at the published rate, I was very pleased. "The Sofitel was the perfect location before a flight from Gatwick's North Terminal, and the car was picked up right outside the Sofitel hotel entrance within minutes of us arriving. I would suggest that Maple Meet & Greet had a better description of where to pick up the car from, however the fact we were able to land at 22:00 on Christmas Day and be on the M23 by 22:30 shows how great the service is. I shall definitely be using it again. All the hassle taken out of travelling to and from Gatwick, thank you." / 10

The hotel we selected through you (Gatwick Worth) was really very good with an excellent service and a very comfortable room. "We did not start well with the accomdation. We had to change rooms 2 times on all occations the staff were very helpfull. Breakfast was very good anything need was given. As for the whole time there I must say the facilities were ok as will as the staff." / 10

The transfer to the south terminal, at such an early hour, was uneventful and the MKeet & Greet service, of the car to the terminal, meant that we could get on our way home so much sooner. One very small complaint was that when we landed at Gatwick we had to ring for a taxi on a number that the hotel had given us so we could get a cheaper rate but that was not answered so we ended up paying nearly double for a taxi from the taxi stand at Gatwick. The only minor complaint I had is that bed I was given had a mattress made of a cross between sponge and treacle, which required a very large person to stand on my spine in order to move some of the vertebra back into place the next day. "Only stayed the one night at the Cambridge Hotel prior to flying out on holiday but the service we received from the momement we booked to the time the courtesey bus left us at the airport was wonderful. "Wonderful hotel, clean & comfortable, bathrooms to die for. Staff very helpful and friendly. Parking at the hotel is well worth the extra money because it saves driving around London in the cold and dark first thing in the morning. Only complaint was having to wait so long for the coach back from Gatwick, we missed it by 10 minutes so had to wait for 50 minutes for the next one - not good after a long flight. Would definately book there again if flying from Gatwick" / 10
