"Always use stay/park Hotels when flying from London airports, so the following comments are not without some exprience. The Cambridge was perfect for the job. Easy to get to & re-gain Motorway links to get back home. Transfer was slick with good vehicles, room & food very good. Car was waiting at the front of the Hotel upon our return. Will now use the Cambridge every time we fly from Gatwick. Impressed."

"We had a very comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay at the Cambridge Hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had an exceptional nice meal in the restaurant and the transport too and from Gatwick Airport was prompt, efficient and frendly.

"1. Our room at the front of the hotel was noisy every half hour due to the shuttle bus and we therefore had a very poor night's sleep. We realise this can't be avoided and in future would request a room at the rear.
2. On our return we 'phoned the hotel and were told the bus would be with us within ten minutes. After twenty minutes a mini-bus arrived from Acorn Lodge with a piece of paper stuck in the windscreen saying 'Cambridge Hotel'. When we told him we required the Cambrdge Hotel he said he couldn't take us as there would be another bus on its way. He then made a 'phone call and finally agreed to take us. Not a major problem but obviously some confusion!"

"We booked one nights accomodation with holiday parking at The Cambridge Hotel using Holiday Extras. The staff on arrival were very helpful, our room was a family room which consisted of a set uf bunk beds and a double bed, all extremley clean and very comfortable. The hotel operate a request service for transfer to and from the airport, this journey is only a few minutes and using this set-up meant we were taken and picked up at a time that suited us perfectly. We had no waiting around at the airport upon our return journey, we just telephoned and they came!! Just what you want after a days' travelling.We were so impressed we've already booked The Cambridge for our next holiday in May. Sarah Ramsay"

"I was really impressed with my syay at the Cambridge and the breakfast was good value and well cooked.Just missed being a 10 due to the sink in the bathroom not able to be emptied and the leak from the sink. We did not complain about these but am sure they would have been delt with effectively if we had. Thanks - will be using this hotel again."

"The Cambridge Hotel was excellent, the worst bit is always waiting at the airport for the return transfer but they were there within 15 minutes of us picking up our bags....the hotel staff were particularly friendly and helpful and at £99 it was great value for money.....all in all an excellent experience."
