It?s worth staying overnight at the Gatwick Hilton just to enjoy the food. The Hilton boasts two excellent restaurants, two bars serving food as well as a Costa coffee shop offering cakes and hot drinks. For a really great start to your holiday spend your evening at Amy?s or the Garden restaurant and be sure not to miss the Hilton?s word-class breakfast buffet before you fly.

The Garden restaurant

The light and spacious Garden restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Best of all, kids under 10 eat free with a paying adult so book now for great food at a great price.

Breakfast - However you like to start the day, the Garden restaurant?s buffet breakfast will hit the spot. Full cooked English breakfast, continental cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit salads, a dozen different types of cereal and toast ? and we?ve never seen so many pots of jam in one place! The Garden restaurant breakfast is huge, delicious and opens at 6am. Linger over fresh tea, coffee and fruit juices if you have the time, be in and out in under ten minutes if you?re in a hurry for an early flight (we?ve done it, it?s really that quick). You couldn?t hope for a better start to your day - or to your holiday.

Lunch - The Garden restaurant also serves lunch on weekdays.

Dinner - If you?re looking for plenty of choice, dinner at the Garden restaurant won?t disappoint. We recommend the buffet, a nightly banquet of more than 100 dishes featuring dozens of different meals from seafood starters and soup of the day to fresh salads and roasts from the carvery, a whole counter of delicious desserts and the hotel?s very extensive drinks menu. You could eat at the Garden restaurant buffet every night for a month and never have the same meal twice. Shame you?re only there for one night!

Alternatively, try the Garden restaurant?s a la carte menu serving the Hilton Burger, flash-fried tiger prawns, succulent Scottish steaks cooked to order as well as four different curries and four different pasta and pizza combinations.

Kids eat free - If you're traveling with your children, you might find it reassuring to know that Hilton hotels have worked with child nutrition expert Annabel Karmel to create the childrens? menu for the Garden restaurant. Children under 10 eat for free from the children?s menu if accompanied by a paying adult.

Customer Reviews

Hilton Great hotel and location. Only slight criticism is that the restaurant and bar are a little small for the size of the hotel.

Hilton Was a bit annoyed that there was limited seating in the restaurant and that we had to wait for a table due to a large conference being held at the same day. Would have been very helpful if the hotel had alerted us to this on our arrival. They kept selling dinner vouchers to other guests and the restaurant was struggling to get them seated and had to call them to tell them to stop selling the buffet dinner to anymore guest. We had bought ours as part of the package: hotel, meet and greet and dinner. This is not a fault of holiday extras but with the Hilton itself and I would appreciate these comments being passed onto them.

Hilton The only reason we stay at the Gatwick Hilton Hotel is for convenience to be right there at the airport. The Hotel is nothing special. restaurants are dreadful and bar prices are high. Every time we stay there they forget to give us a wake up call.....not that we really need one as we use our mobile phone alarms but it has become a point of principle now!

Hilton The Hilton at Gatwick was fine. We regularly have an evening meal at the Garden restaurant, but the selection and quality of the food has deteriorated.
