Unwind and relax in style
The Gatwick Holiday Inn has always been a firm favourite for families. It's only minutes away from the North terminal and has oodles of four-bed rooms, a kids-eat-free menu and a caring team of staff. The open-plan areas have a laid-back vibe with plenty of seating for you to enjoy a relaxing drink or a bite to eat. There's no chance of the little ones getting bored here, with TVs, games, activity packs and a free two-course meal for up to two children under 13.
While the Holiday Inn is loved by families, it's also a hit with those who like the simplicity of leaving their car at the hotel during their holiday. There's loads of spaces and the car park's secured, so the start of your holiday can go without a hitch.
Great stay as always at The Holiday Inn before our holiday.... 7th consecutive year I believe. Small issue with food this time round but resolved with little fuss.Mrs Hewitt (Gatwick Holiday Inn)
Good standard hotel and excellent food and service. I would rather have the car brought to the airport then go a key to the hotel to collect it. Otherwise great.Ms Houghton (Gatwick Holiday Inn)
Staff were great good accommodation. No problems what so ever. Looking forward to next year and will book again with you. ThanksMr Taw (Gatwick Holiday Inn)
We booked in to restaurant for 7.30 after travelling for almost 6 hours - 2 adults, 2 teenage boys. By 9.30 we had still not received our dinner, no actual reason given from staff. I then asked where we could get food locally, was sent to a pub that had stopped serving , rode around an unknown area to find a takeaway eventually ! Absolutely disgraceful start to holiday. One of double beds in room was a camp bed so could feel all springs & could not sleep NEVER AGAIN! We had booked in for night before so we had a relaxing start to a holiday with a 9.5 hour flight rather than a long stressful journey to airport on day of flight!Mrs Peacock (Gatwick Holiday Inn)
Staff very helpful and all went smoothly. Only one criticism - we had booked breakfast and there were empty trays, no bacon, no mushrooms, no baked beans and no croissants. We were told the bacon would be ready in minutes, not good when you have to catch a flight and told run out of croissants! Disappointing breakfast but first class on everything else.Mrs Shepherd (Gatwick Holiday Inn)

Hearty, traditional British meals
Traders restaurant and the Hub bar have an informal setting, so although there's no need to don a fancy frock at dinner, this doesn't mean the food isnt elegant and refined. Juicy, flavoursome steaks, deep-filled pies, classic fish and chips as well as a range of sandwiches and wraps are all on offer. Food is reasonably priced and made using locally sourced produce. The Holiday Inn is a family-friendly hotel thats perfect for avoiding airport stress. You might even have some fun while youre there!
