More choice than just on-site food

The morning after your stay, we know you'll be in a hurry and probably won't have time to find yourself a good breakfast. That's why the Gatwick Holiday Inn Express offers a free breakfast for all its guests. Help yourself to continental pastries, cereals, coffee and juices, or choose from a range of hot options including all the English breakfast regulars. The buffet is served in the hotel lounge from 6am to 10am, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to grab yourself some free food.

If you're staying for lunch or dinner, there are three options: order a takeaway up to your room (there's a directory down in the foyer); head to the High Street in Crawley, where there's a range of restaurants including a tapas bar, an American grill and Italian, Chinese, Thai and Indian food; or pop across the car park to the Harvester pub on the same site as the hotel.

The Harvester

The Harvester offers grills and pub grub with an all-you-can-eat salad bar included in the price of any meal. Steaks, chicken and burgers cost around £7 to £10 and lighter meals such as pasta, scampi and chicken will set you back between £5 and £7. There's also a kids menu, or the new, "5-a-day" healthier menu for £6.49. After, there's a choice of moreish sundaes for dessert.
