If you're the kind of person who would rather make a nice dinner for yourself at home than go out for meal, The White House is probably the hotel for you. Instead of paying for bells and whistles you don't need, The White House focuses on filling itself with all the comforts of home. The rooms aren't anything fancy, but they're comfy enough, like staying in a guest room at your nan's, and there's some great home-cooked food too.

The hotel's restaurant serves up traditional pub grub or authentic Indian dishes at a reasonable price, but they're not formal, you can grab yourself whatever you like from the town centre nearby and eat it in the dining room if the menu's not to your taste. There's even a free cooked breakfast in the morning!

Just five minutes from the terminal and you'll be homeward bound

Despite the homely feel, The White House is still just five minutes from the terminal by its free minibus service. The bus runs from 9am to 10pm daily, but there is an extra charge to run outside these hours: £6 per room, book at reception.
