When you’re booked into the Heathrow airport Easyhotel and you’ve got a bit of time on your hands it’s definitely worth a trip to London. The capital offers everything you could want, from fantastic food to exciting attractions it’s all there. With such a huge amount to choose from it’s easy to get a bit lost in it all so we’ve put together a list of some of our favourite things to see and do in the city.

Shopping

Right in the centre of London is the home of High Street shopping, Oxford Street. A single road full of all your favourite brands is a tantalising prospect for anyone and if that doesn’t satisfy your shopping desires then Westfield mall just might.

If you’re a bit more of a free spirit then Portobello Road will be right up your street. The market is home to all sorts of vintage fashion, antiques and jewellery, so you can create a look that’s all your own.

Eating and Drinking

In a city the size of London you’ll obviously find all the usual chains and popular eateries but it’s worth looking for something a little special. Make your dinner an event in itself and enjoy some seriously good food.

If you head to Brick Lane you’ll find plenty of places for brilliant Bengali cuisine, and Stoke Newington is full of Turkish delights. Whether you like it hot or not you’ll get a curry that’ll really tickle your taste buds in Southall.

The Ivy is the place to be if you like your top-class food with a bit of celebrity spotting thrown in and the three Michelin starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay will serve you up something unforgettable.
