You'll get the best of British

The Heathrow Holiday Inn Ariel offers three options for dining: the Junction restaurant on the ground floor, which serves breakfast and dinner; the bar which serves an all-day menu; and a 24-hour room service menu of hot and cold meals and snacks.

Junction is open for dinner from 6pm to 10.30pm daily, and offers British classics including braised beef, fish pie, sausage and mash and succulent steak grills. There’s also a good range of curries and filling fajitas. Those with a smaller appetite might enjoy a salad or a selection of Italian antipasti. Expect to pay around £7 for starters and £15 to £20 for mains.

The Junction restaurant

  • Breakfast: 6am to 10.30am, 11am at weekends
  • Bar menu - 24 hours

If you’re traveling with the family, you’ll be happy to know that kids aged 12 and under eat free from the special kids’ menu when accompanied by at least one paying adult. Up to four kids can eat free per family, and Holiday Inn’s “Grow Healthy” menu features lean, low-salt dishes designed to help your kids enjoy their five-a-day.

The bar on the ground floor offers a menu of light meals, burgers and family favourites, from lasagne and fish and chips to gourmet burgers. If you’ve missed breakfast, you can get a bowl of porridge and breakfast butties; or if you’re just in the mood for a nibble there are sandwiches and mezze. The bar serves cakes and muffins – a nice accompaniment to a cup of freshly-brewed tea or coffee.

Classic English breakfast

The Junction restaurant on the ground floor serves a hot breakfast buffet from 6am to 10.30am Monday to Friday (6am to 11am at weekends). Some of the items include sausages, bacon, beans, mushrooms and eggs cooked to order. If you can’t face a big breakfast in the morning, there are plenty of lighter options too – pastries, croissants, cereals, yoghurts and toast. If you’re not in a rush, Junction is a pleasant place to linger over a fruit juice and the morning paper; if you do need a swift exit then the buffet service means you can grab what you need quickly.

Room service

Room service is available 24 hours a day with a menu of curries, soups and sandwiches. Gourmet burgers and hot meals including omelettes, spaghetti bolognese and chicken pie are also on offer from 10am to 11pm.
