Get out and explore all there is to see around Heathrow and London

Excellent value - hotel lovely - my little boy loved seeing the planes land at Heathrow. So easy on return - car safe and sound. Thanks.

Food and drink

If you choose not to dine at the hotel or the airport, there are all sorts of cuisines to choose from nearby. Local restaurants include the Pheasant restaurant and pub, which offers a mix of traditional pub food and finer dining, as well as a kids' menu, all in a wonderful setting split across six levels.

Filling meals

A little further afield, you’ll find the amazing Fat Duck, a restaurant owned by renowned chef Heston Blumenthal, in Bray. You'll get the chance to taste the wildest and wackiest of high-end food, great for when you’re feeling adventurous.

If you're looking for something a little more ordinary, there is a whole crowd of restaurants and cafes at to suit all tastes and budgets in London. You’ll find a range of cuisines, including the Oriental in China Town, Indian and Middle Eastern in the East End, and all your well-known favourite restaurants in the West End and Soho areas. You really will be spoilt for choice.

Leisure activities

London Eye

During your stay at the Renaissance you’ll have a number of places to while away your time whilst waiting for your flight. In addition to the hotel’s great facilities, there are local attractions in the surrounding area for you to make use of. Take a swing at the Stockley Park golf course, relax at the Spring Health Leisure Club, get your thrills at Thorpe Park, or challenge the kids to bowling at the Airport Bowl.

London sightseeing

With London only a train or bus journey away, you really can’t miss out on seeing all the famous sites that draw tourists from around the world. From Big Ben and the London Eye to the Tower of London and Greenwich Park, there’s plenty to see. If you want to do some last minute shopping for your holiday, just head to any of the buzzing shopping areas such as Oxford Street, Covent Garden or Westfield shopping mall.
