Don't travel to Heathrow unless you know your flight is leaving.

That's the message from the world's busiest airport, which reopened today but is still struggling to cope with heavy snow.

No more than a third of flights are expected to take off today and tomorrow, and delays and cancellations are expected right up until Christmas, and possibly after that.

The airport's website says passengers shouldn't travel there unless their airline has confirmed that their flight is leaving.

All of which is worrying and stressful for passengers due to fly in the next couple of days - so if you're flying from terminal 5, why not ease some of the stress and worry by staying at the Heathrow Sofitel?

The hotel is connected to terminal 5 by a covered walkway - so you can relax and take your time travelling to the airport the day before your flight, knowing that once you get there, you're only a few minutes' stroll from the check-in desk.

The Sofitel has three restaurants, two bars, a spa, a gym, a pool, a sauna and a steam room. All rooms have soundproofing, air conditioning, a minibar and a queen size bed.
