This superb 3-star hotel has all the facilities you'd find at a 4-star, but at a lower price. The Mercure Parkway's reasonably priced restaurant and bar both serve up delicious foods and quality wines - an excellent way to spend the evening before your flight.
This restaurant exudes quality and overlooks the beautifully kept gardens at the Mercure Leeds Parkway. The high ceilings, dimmed lighting and warm colours make it feel extremely welcoming - somewhere you'd be more than happy to spend the evening.
Delicious, filling continental and English breakfasts are available in this restaurant. Both are served Monday to Friday from 7.30am until 9.30am, Saturdays from 7.30am till 11am, and on Sundays from 8am until noon. You can help yourself to fruit juices, tea and coffee, pastries, croissants, cereals, milk and toast. If you want the cooked breakfast, you can tuck into eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, hash browns and tomatoes. Yum!
Lunch and dinner
Indulge in some of the finest food at Leeds Bradford airport - you can take advantage of lighter snacks or larger mains. For lunch or a lighter bite, you can choose from cheesy wedges with salsa sauce; sandwiches: tuna mayonnaise, honey roast ham salad, prawn cocktail or cheese and tomato; or paninis: tomato and mozzarella, tuna mayonnaise or ham and cheese. For something more filling, there's griddled steak, pan-fried seabass, roast chicken, deep fried fresh haddock or a caesar salad. Finish it off nicely with one of the tasty desserts: vanilla panna cotta, Bramley apple desserts, the toffee indulgence or a selection of British cheeses.
The Lounge Bar provides a less formal atmosphere to enjoy a snack or a quiet drink in. The bar is fully stocked with all the popular wines, spirits, beers, ales and soft drinks. There's also a limited menu available for those who don't want to venture into the more formal Arts Brasserie. Some of the things on the menu include: mezze, marinated olives or garlic bread with cheese; sandwiches: mature cheddar and tomato, honey roast ham salad or prawn cocktail salad. If you've got a bigger appetite, you can also choose lamb kaftan curry or chicken vindaloo.
