Pool and jacuzzi
The Mercure's large heated pool is something you won't want to miss out on. It's superb for serious swimmers or even the more amateurish - but it's big enough that you won't get in each others way. If you've got kids, there's even a separate pool for them to splash about in. If you simply want to relax, there's also a jacuzzi overlooking the swimming pool.
Finnish sauna and steam room
Bake yourself in the sauna, or boil yourself in the steam room and get rid of all those toxins before your holiday. It's a great way to relax and pamper yourself, but it's also an excellent way to prepare your skin for the sun.
Gym
Keep up the fitness routine and make use of the Mercure's fully stocked gym. This supervised fitness room has trainers on-hand to help you with personal plans or questions about the equipment. You can take advantage of the four treadmills, two rowing machines, four exercise bikes, two steppers, two cross trainers and a multi-gym. For those who enjoy taking part in fitness classes, there's also the option of joining in with pilots, yoga and salsa dancing.
Beauty treatments
If your holiday's all about relaxation, why not start early and get pampered to the max. The hotel's spa offers a truly tranquil setting, perfect for massages, reflexology, head massages, manicure and pedicure. These treatments are all available for a small fee.
All-weather tennis courts
Bit of a pro on the courts? The hotel has two outdoor tennis courts available for use. If you haven't got your own kit, you can also borrow rackets and tennis balls from the fitness centre.
