Holiday Inn Express Liverpool Airport

Make your family holiday simplicity itself

If you’re flying with family, you’ll need an airport hotel that’s both convenient and great value, which is exactly what you’ll get with the Holiday Inn Express Liverpool airport. From arrival, you’ll get a straight-forward check in to your spacious, comfortable room, some kid-friendly food and a good night’s rest.

Our customers are particularly fond of the chatty staff at the Express, and their local knowledge could give you some useful tips for navigating the airport. There’s not a huge staff on duty, so you’re sure to see the same faces. The hotel is so focused on your convenience that they have handy luggage scales in the lobby near the vending machines for last-minute checks.

A short walk from the airport, but in a world of its own

Just a 20-minute walk from the airport, or a 5-minute drive, the hotel isn’t out in the middle of nowhere, but it’s still off site. The hotel is right next to a branch of Dobbie’s garden centre, which has a nice bistro and a toy department that should give your kids something to do if you have time to kill. Liverpool airport is a little isolated, so it’s a bonus to have somewhere else to go.

The Express may be a limited-service hotel, but it offers you exactly what you need and nothing more, so you don’t end up paying for things you don’t need.

We recommend the Holiday Inn Express Liverpool Airport for:

Family fun - Spacious rooms, kid-friendly food and straight-forward check in and out, all make this a great hotel to take the stress out of those family trips.

Comfy rooms - For a limited-service hotel, the rooms at the Express are surprisingly spacious and comfortable; more so than many more-expensive hotels.

Escape the airport -While still under a mile from the terminal, the hotel is still clear of the airport bustle and there’s a garden centre next door to keep your kids occupied.

Arrival at the Holiday Inn Express

You can check in from 14:00. Here are your directions to the hotel:
- Leave the M62 at junction 4, following the slip road round onto Queens Drive.
- Follow the road round onto the A5058 and take the third exit at the roundabout.
- Keep going along the A5058 until you come to yet another roundabout, where you'll need to take the first exit onto the A562 Menlove Avenue.
- Keep going along the road for about 3.5 miles, as it becomes Hillfoot Road and then Speke Hall Road.
- Go straight across the crossroad onto Speke Hall Avenue and you should see the hotel on your left.
