In August 2007 Menzies Hotels acquired eight Thistle Hotels at Birmingham, Luton, Swindon, Stevenage, Irvine and Manchester, Gatwick and Aberdeen airports.
The Pinewood Menzies is one of these excellent hotels and, in line with plans for a £12 million capital investment programme, the hotel starts a refurbishment program on the 31st August that will last throughout the month.
