"The fact that it took so long to check in meant that we didn't get the use of the servisair lounge, my husband did have a quick look in and said it would have been worth the money if we had had the time to go in there" / 10

"Good clean accomodation next to the airport with parking included for 14 days, as I was to be away for 18 days obviously had extra to pay, but this was very reasonable at less than £4 per day. Food good and staff pleasant and attentive. I have used the Brittania Hotel at Newcastle Airport twice this year and will certainly use it again." / 10

"I would definately use the hotel again as it was ideally placed next to the airport and within walking distance. No problem with the hotel, staff or car parking." / 10

"The young lady who handled our booking was excellent correcting my error politely and efficiently. Unfortunately the parking service at Newcastle did not match the price charged. The transfer bus did not run to schedule and the driver overfilled it with the result that it was extremely difficult to retrieve luggage from the racks and exit the bus. Also there should be some announcement from the driver as he approaches the various sections of the carpark as it was difficult to see through windows on the crowded bus." / 10

"The staff were fine and made us very welcome - however our room was not. There was dust everywhere. The toilet was something else! There were black head and body hairs at the back of the toilet pan and around the seat as well as the remains of some other bodily fluid - it looked as though it hadn't been cleaned after the last customer. The sink too was covered in long black hairs. Fortunately I had some wet wipes with me and was able to clean it as best I could. It's the worst state of a bathroom that I have ever stayed in." / 10
