"We had a lovely overnight stay, the room was very comfortable, we had a relaxing time in the sauna & jacuzzi. We decided to top it off by having a meal in the restaurant. Unfortunately, this was a disappointment. I had the fish of the day, which was cooked superbly, but my husband decided to push the boat out and have the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. He asked for it to be cooked medium, we were told by the very helpful waitress that there would be a 20-30 min wait, while it was cooked, not a problem. But when it did arrive it was well done and the peppercorn sauce was gravy with pepper ground into it. No peppercorns were evident. The waitress asked if everything was ok and my husband did explain that it was not, she did offer to change it, but he felt that another wait would then make it a long time, as I would have then finished my meal by the time it arrived. She did offer us a coffee on the house. We would happily return to the Hilton on our next trip abroad.Many thanks"

"The staff at the Hilton were polite, helpful and very efficient. We both enjoyed our experience. It was an excellent begining to our holiday and such a contrast to our experience of the Hilton at Heathrow. When flying from Standstead we will be staying again."

"I received a warm welcome and found the room very comfortable. The bus to the airport was prompt and there was even someone from the hotel to help with passengers' suitcases. I will definitely be using the Hilton at Stansted again."
