Gatwick airport is located 24 miles from the centre of London at junction 9a of the M23. The Most direct route to or from London city centre is via the M23 and A23 which takes approximately 1 hour depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. Alternatively trains run to the airport regularly and take about 50 minutes.
Crawley is the nearest town, just 6 miles from Gatwick by car or rail. There is ample parking at Gatwick airport but it is recommended to book in advance because it can be expensive otherwise.
