Everything went well, until we tried to leave. The gate was trying to charge me again, and the two cars in front. But the man on the intercom sorted it out.

2 years running, upon leaving the car park, the ticket machine at the exit has told me that I have an outstanding payment to pay before I can leave, and the barrier won't open. Both times I've then had to find my booking reference number and call the attendant on duty to be let out. On both occasions this has happened fairly quickly but is still an inconvenience.

As usual the rubbish number recognition system at EMA trapped us in the car park until we messed abt. ringing the control. Not Holiday Extras fault I'm sure but it does cause frustration.

There are no number plate recognition camera that we could see there, however the exit staff were contacted and we got out of the exit car park quite quickly when they were contacted.

It was very efficient and easy the only confusion was when we insert the ticket to get out of the car park it said £42 outstanding when we have pre-booked and paid. So when I pressed the return ticket the barrier lift up and we droved off.

Booking all went well except when exiting inserted card to exit machine it asked for payment, pressed the help button and staff member was very helpful and raised bar for us to leave. Thank you.

Never made a comment about my parking experience but it happens every time I park in long stay car park and I feel like it needs mentioning. When I return to my car and about to leave the car park, i put my ticket in and it tries to charge me around £100. I am always in time and leave before the booking period ends but never managed to leave without calling assistance and explain that the barrier doesn't move. Would love it to be a smooth movement but it's not. Other than that everything is spot on.

The only minor incident occurred when I inserted my card to leave the car park. The screen suggested I owed £57 and a few pence. I called the operator via the intercom and was allowed to leave fairly quickly after quoting my reference number. Not a problem to me but some people may panic if asked to make a payment of this kind.

Distance from Departures a bit far for walking as we are senior citizens. The exit barrier was not working but a man was going around opening the barriers which was excellent and we did not have to wait.
