Meet and greet staff were very helpful and efficient
Telephone staff were very abrupt and sounded bored.
We had to wait awhile for our car on our return to Gatwick-possibly because of extra security due to the explosion in Manchester

We had to wait minutes on arrival to receive our car, when it should have been there when we arrived. The staff were not very apologetic and we were left standing in the cold with a newborn baby at o'clock at night. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Parking with Maple Manor was a disaster. When we phoned after collecting the luggage to ask them to bring the car, they said that there had been problems with our car when we left it at Gatwick and they believed that there was something wrong with the alternator. This seemed extraordinary as we have had no issues with the car and it has been serviced in the last few weeks. They said they had to jump start it to move it from Gatwick to the car park on the day we flew but we were not informed of this issue. They said that they would try and get the car started and call back to let me know if they had succeeded. After about 1 minute, they called back to say they had been unsuccessful and that the site manager would not allow them to jump start the car again. They suggested that I call the AA to attend and they said they would not pick the family up until the AA had arrived. I called the AA who said that I would need to be present before any work could be done on my car - however Maple Manor refused to send the minibus to pick us up until the AA actually arrived. After minutes, an AA man rang saying he had arrived at the car park where there were no Maple Manor staff around to advise where the car was parked. I agreed to call Maple Manor back to ask them to send a vehicle to pick us up. We were placed on hold for several minutes but eventually they did agree to come and pick us up. There seemed to be a lot of confusion about where the AA man was and the minibus driver first took us to a different car park to look for the AA. We were then taken to the car park where our car was parked. The first driver got out and another person drove us to the car. We got out of the minibus and the driver impatiently wanted us and our luggage out. Interestingly, the car started first time without any difficulty whatsoever. The battery was not flat and there is no problem with the alternator. It was clear that the Maple Manor staff had not even attempted to start the car that day at all. The driver just shrugged his shoulders and moved the minibus on. As we drove off, the first minibus driver stopped us and admitted that his colleague must have been "wrong" when he wrote on the notes that there was an issue with the alternator. He then directed us where to go and wait for the AA man who had by this time been waiting for us for a length of time. The AA man just wanted his paper signed to say that he had attended - he did not even look at the car as it was unnecessary for him to do so. We then drove home after about an hour and a half unnecessary delay.
This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and will mean that I will lose my no claims bonus with the AA as I have not used them for years. I also feel that the level of communication amongst staff at the site was particularly poor and I would never recommend Maple Manor to anyone at all.

I'd never booked with Maple Manor before and wouldn't repeat my booking. Initially, my partner left his phone in the car (his fault admittedly) but we noticed less than minutes after leaving the car, so thought it would be quite straightforward to get it back. The staff were very unhelpful - one lady basically told me she wasn't going to do anything to try to get it back, another said it would take 2 hours to get the driver back. Both promised they would call me back to let me know what was going on; neither did. I wasn't concerned about the phone, rather about the security of my car with a phone on display. No reassurance from staff at all. On my return journey, our flight was delayed by just over an hour, meaning that instead of picking the car up at, I picked it up at. For this delay I was charged an additional £10, which felt unreasonable. Again, staff were most unhelpful when I tried to understand what I was being charged for. All in all this experience has not only put me off ever using a meet and greet service again, it has also seriously damaged my perception of holiday extras. I am a most unhappy customer.
