This package, exclusive to Holiday Extras, allows you to park in the Sofitel Short Stay car park, just minutes from Terminal 5.

At this car park you get to park yourself and keep your keys which means it's completely contact-free - no buses, just walk to the terminal.

Need to know

Sofitel Short Stay is the only car park where you can keep your keys and walk to Terminal 5.

Drive to the Sofitel hotel and park in their underground car park. From there you can walk through the covered walkway straight into Terminal 5. If you're not flying from T5 then you can take Heathrow Express underground service to any of the other terminals â€' it's free and takes a matter of minutes.

Accessibility

The car park has 12 accessible spaces as well as lifts to all levels. The spaces work on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved.

The car park is underground and secured by:

The small print

Government regulations require passengers at the airport to wear a face mask. Remember to bring a face mask and have it on before you get there. You'll need one for each member of your party.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of an hour, at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £49 per day, which is subject to change.

This package is for parking at the Sofitel hotel car park, not the airport's Short Stay car park.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2.2m entry barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Don't forget to print your booking confirmation and take it with you as the car park will need to see this when you arrive.

Getting to and from airport

Arriving at the car park

Drive to the Sofitel's car park and take a ticket at the barrier. Park anywhere on the lower levels and keep hold of your keys.

Then take the lift back up to the ground floor and walk through the covered walkway into Terminal 5 â€' it shouldn't take any longer than 5 minutes to get there. If you're flying from a different terminal you can catch the Heathrow Express underground service, it's free so long as you're only travelling between terminals.

Returning to the car park

After you land take the walkway from T5 back to the Sofitel, where you'll need to get your parking ticket validated by guest relations.

Then pick up your car and use your ticket at the barrier on your way out of the car park.
