Luton Airport Fire & Rescue Service

London Luton airport celebrated the arrival of its new fire vehicle with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 10.

Airport staff, directors and the fire service attended as the airport launched the latest addition to its fleet of four fire vehicles.

Passenger numbers at the airport continue to increase and it now has a fire and rescue team of 52 people.

The new vehicle is named Florian after the patron saint of firefighters. The name was chosen through a competition and winner Jo Fyfe was also at the ceremony.

Park at Luton short-term parking for eight days from only £41.04.
