The Pilgrims Hospice is invaluable to the community offering freely available professional palliative care at home and in the three hospices - in Ashford, Canterbury and Margate.
This year Holiday Extras decided to help the environment by sending an email Christmas Card rather than the traditional paper based variety. The consequential savings have been donated to the very worthy cause of the Pilgrims Hospice in Kent.
Becky Kennet, Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator for Pilgrims Hospices, says "When you are visiting the Pilgrims hospices and marvelling at the care being given - remember that they only exist because the people of east Kent continue to support them.... it is vital that this very special service remains available to the people of east Kent for future generations."
