Pink Elephant at Southampton Airport

Southampton Pink Elephant airport parking Stalwart firefighters from Southampton airport are testing their mettle in the Three Peaks Challenge. They will set out between the 22nd and the 27th June 2008.

The three peaks will challenge the stamina and spirit of the Southampton firemen with the climb of Ben Nevis, Scafel Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours. The ultimate aim is to raise money for The Fire Fighter’s Charity.

Paul Abbott, Southampton Airport Fire Fighter, and 4 times silver medallist, explains: “The challenge is really physically demanding, but great for team building and camaraderie. Having won the silver award 4 times, the team is more determined than ever to achieve the gold award this year.”
