Despite critics fears of air-rage and safety compromises Ryanair has announced plans to launch a new in-flight mobile phone service on its Stansted flights.
The new service will allow passengers to make calls as well as sending and receiving text messages during flights, where roaming international calls will apply. With ten planes successfully equipped at Dublin with the technology, Ryanair hopes to get clearance for the next phase at Stansted by the end of August, eventually looking to roll it out across the rest of their fleet.
