As holiday season reaches its peak this summer we're here to remind you not to forget the hand luggage restrictions in place at Durham Tees Airport. After a customer was caught with 13 bottles of various liquids at Liverpool Airport, Peel Airports Group (the owners of Liverpool and Durham Tees airports) are keen to ensure that the rest of its customers don't make the same mistakes.
Remember at Durham you're only allowed liquids, gels and aerosols contained in individual 100ml containers which fit comfortably in a re-sealable clear bag no larger than 20cm x 20cm. Hand luggage must not exceed 56cm x 45cm x 25cm. Take these guidelines into account and you're sure to have a hitch free journey.
