We deal directly with the hotels, car parks and lounges to agree prices, packages and how many rooms or spaces we're going to sell.

We have to balance the needs of our suppliers with the needs of our customers, so that both are getting the best deal. We have to agree the best rates with the hotels, car parks and lounges and make sure we have enough rooms or spaces available for our customers. It's also our job to load all the information about the products onto the website. So as well as good negotiating skills, you also need to have excellent attention to detail, as everything on the website needs to be correct.

It's up to us to keep bookings up when it's a quiet time of year, or try to increase bookings for products which are selling less well. We are always looking for new opportunities, whether that means new suppliers, or developing new packages with existing suppliers. This year we've started selling upgrades, for example people can book dinner or breakfast at the hotel, or have their car cleaned while they are away on holiday. Usually they save money by booking these upgrades with us in advance.
