Our job is to design, build, maintain and optimise all the websites' front end landing pages.
We have to make sure all the pages you see before the booking engine are as clear and concise as possible. We look after the layout of the page, the code and the navigational links on the site. We also work closely with the content team to help them put their pages together.
Our team contains people with very different skill sets. We have some technical gurus who look after all the code: the css, javascript and php among other languages. They fix technical issues and keep our pages fresh and efficient. Other team members look after the busy job of pleasing Google and other engines. We must have a very thorough understanding of how these search engines work and how changes to the site can impact on our website's performance.
Despite all the furious work there's an incredibly fun, relaxed atmosphere in our team. Everyone gets on really well and we like to think we're one of the nicest teams in the company to work in.
