I'm one of four PAs who look after the directors, the heads of team, the senior managers and anyone else around the company who needs looking after.
Our job involves a lot of diary management. We set up a lot of meetings, create the presentations for those meetings and are also involved in taking the minutes. We make a lot of travel arrangements, both business and personal - we do quite a lot of personal jobs for the directors. The role is quite varied and it changes on a daily basis so it's quite hard to say what we do day to day - but pretty much anything that gets thrown at us!
We have to work within really tight timescales, so you have to be well organised and able to prioritise and work under pressure. It is really important that you can work proactively and always know in advance what is expected of you. And you have to be able to make good tea as well!
We all feel like one big team here at Holiday Extras. You feel like part of a family. We do lots of social activities and are really well looked after. There are fun events on a monthly basis - we are always getting up to something here and we definitely have lots of fun.
