Profit Share is paid quarterly at approx. 4.2% for first two years with us, and then doubles to approx 8.4% after two years
The role
A successful applicant would be working with in-house systems to develop and maintain highly optimised, traffic generating web landing pages. You would be working within a small, dedicated team as part of the larger Holiday Extras web department, focusing on improving landing pages for clients, customers and search engines.
As an online advertising template builder you will be responsible for building search engine optimised pages with use of dynamic, database-driven templates and Smarty plugin implementation. Our pages require a focus on optimum download speed, table-less formatting, cross-browser compatibility and clean, error-less coding.
Key requirements of the role:
- • Strong HTML knowledge (web forms, W3C compliant XHTML, table-less webpage design).
- • Strong CSS knowledge.
- • Smarty template building.
- • JavaScript and jQuery knowledge (form validation).
- • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- • Awareness and implementation of plug-ins.
- • Highly organised, able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- • Have an excellent understanding of our business rules.
- • Flexible, willing to put in the extra when the need arises.
Other useful skills:
- • Basic PHP.
- • Broad general internet knowledge.
- • Good communication skills .
- • Attention to detail.
- • Knowledge of Photoshop and Image ready for image placements optimisation.
