The role:

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual to:

• • Be passionate about the online market place and emerging web technologies.
• • Get involved in all areas of online reporting including PPC, SEO and Email.
• • Create insightful and actionable reports, dashboards and analysis of analytical and statistical reports with recommendations.
• • Undertake site, campaign and customer analysis to evaluate success and deliver insight to drive optimisation programmes.
• • Ensure robust business modelling and reporting processes.
• • Develop and build on current reporting framework.
• • Review and potentially overhaul current methodologies.
• • Interpret and present analysis clearly and concisely.
• • Provide high-level analysis of key management information.
• • Pre-empt needs for custom data to ensure timely analysis of key strategic issues and produce functional specifications.
• • Be adaptable and receptive to new ideas and opportunities.

You’ll need to be a highly analytical problem solver, with the ability to work using initiative or as part of a team; an excellent communicator who is able to understand other departments' requirements to deliver what is needed.

Essential requirements:

• • Analysing and interpreting data
• • Business Modelling (Advanced Excel an advantage)
• • Strong interpersonal skills
• • Educated to ‘A’-level or degree standard with significant numerate/ analytical content
• • Highly numerate and able to connect different sources of data to formulate insight, identify opportunities and see the bigger picture

Desirable:

• • Experience with Google Analytics / Core metrics
• • Experience of Hitwise
• • Experience in an e-commerce environment
• • Writing SQL/DB2 would be an advantage
• • Experience working with DB2
• • Advanced Excel
