You might think the fact that it's the largest log cabin in the UK is all you need to know about the Chevin Country Park hotel at Leeds Bradford airport. The cosiness, the individuality and the 44 acres of woodland grounds that those words conjure up are reason enough to book this delightful hotel. But when we add that the hotel has a picnic menu which you can enjoy in the stunning, wildlife-filled grounds, or that you can borrow fishing rods from reception to catch carp in the three lakes, you'll know that there's way, way more to it than that. Staying here isn't just a pleasure - it's an experience unlike any other.
I was pleased that I was not charged extra for airport parking, having been grounded for 2 days and more by volcanic ash.Mr Rispin (Leeds Chevin Country Park)
Stayed at the Chevin Country Park Hotel. The staff were fine but the room was awful. The first room we were given was so small we couldn't find space for our suitcase. I complained and asked for a room change. The second room was bigger but was gloomy.Mr Kilgarriff (Leeds Chevin Country Park)
The hotel and carpark facility at the Chevin lodge in leeds was very good and not far from the airport. it was very clean and comfortable and i would book again through holiday extrasMr Doyle (Leeds Chevin Country Park)
Great location for the airport, nice hotel. I have used holiday extras several times and would have no hesitation in making them my first choice in the future.Mr Small (Leeds Chevin Country Park)
Great location, nice cosy room, very friendly staff. Food's a bit disappointing and the car park's not huge but it is well lit and surveillance is good..Mr Kyle (Leeds Chevin Country Park)

Getting to and from Leeds airport
A top spot for a country adventure
Nice and easy parking: When you get to the Chevin Country Park Hotel, just park up and leave your car here while you enjoy your holiday.
Explore: You'll soon be ready for action, and might want to set off on one of the hotel's hiking trails or walkways nestled in 44 acres of private woodland. Perhaps you fancy a spot of lake fishing or tennis? You could even request a picnic, which will be delivered to you anywhere in the grounds.
Some guests venture further afield to nearby Otley with its traditional weekend market. If you'd prefer to stay within the cosy confines of the hotel, the newly-refurbished spa and leisure club has a hot tub, sauna, gym, pampering treatments, and swimming pool with views of the lake and garden.
Fresh fine dining: Overlooking the water, the distinctive log cabin interior of the award-winning Lakeside restaurant is warm and welcoming and one of the largest log buildings in the UK. Fresh seasonal ingredients are used to create two impressive, refined menus - a la carte and taster. Dinner is served between 6.30pm and 9pm in the restaurant, with bar meals available in the Garden Lounge and atmospheric Woodland Bar until 9.30pm.
Retreat to your room: You'll hardly be able to wait until it's time to enjoy the sumptuous bed and country styling in your room. The rooms in the main building and woodland lodges feature a variety of designs, but all have views of the beautiful grounds and buckets of character. Some of the lodges offer porches or decking areas too. En-suite bathrooms, TV, tea and coffee all come as standard, as do the usual facilities of a three-star hotel.
Time to go: After a hearty breakfast, you can travel to the airport in just five minutes. Transfers are available 24 hours a day for £6 per person. When you return to the UK, transfer back to the hotel and collect your car.
