Tell me about easyJet

easyJet is one of Europe’s most popular budget airlines, offering customers great value travel to over 100 destinations. The company has become known for making holiday travelling a stress-free experience since its launch in 1995. Easyjet flights served over 50 million passengers in 2010, and the friendly faces of their staff have proved a hit with families.

Why is easyJet good if you're travelling with a baby?

When travelling with easyJet, babies and infants under two are charged a flat rate of £20, if they travel on the lap of an accompanying adult. Parents are also permitted to bring a car seat to use on the plane if they wish to sit next to their child. easyJet allows breastfeeding on all their flights, they also operate a no-meals policy on all routes, after research showed that passengers would prefer to bring their own meals on board as opposed to paying a premium for unwanted food. This means that easyJet does not restrict passengers from bringing food or drink onto the plane.

Has easyJet won any other awards?

Industry awards include the Conde Nast Traveller Award for Best Low Cost Airline, won seven years running, and the Travel Agents Choice Award for Most Recommended Airline by Passengers. Last year, easyJet scooped the Best Airline Value for Money award at the Holiday Extras Customers' Awards - a sure-fire sign of customer satisfaction.
