Co-operative Travel is part of the largest consumer co-operative in the world. The travel company was formed in 2007 after the fusion of its Travelcare and United Co-operative societies. A further merger with Thomas Cook's retail division in 2010 saw its high street presence grow considerably. Today the company makes holiday arrangements for two million customers through 400 retail branches, two call centres and 600 homeworkers.
