Known throughout the world as a premier destination for any golfing holiday, Scottsdale is home to a huge amount of courses of differing types. Courses range from traditional to desert layouts. American luxury lifestyle magazine the Robb Report named Scottsdale as its 2006 Best Place to Live for Golf.
Some of the most well known golf course around Scottsdale are The Boulders Resort & Golden Spa, Four Seasons Resort, Desert Mountain, Grayhawk, The Phoenician, and Silverleaf. Scottsdale also hosts a leg of the PGA tour. This is the best attended in the whole event, attracting up to half a million visitors for the four-day event.
