Bringing art and culture to Scottsdale
The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art was built in 1999. The building is a retrofit of what was an old movie theatre. It was designed by renowned architect Will Bruder.
Scottsdale has a reputation locally and nationally for its arts and has become a haven for modern and contemporary art. In 2005 the Scottsdale art festival was ranked number on in the USA. The city also holds a weekly arts walk and is popular with residents and locals.
