A family room at Gatwick airport will have everything you and your family needs, eliminating any hassle and getting your holiday off to a perfect start. Family rooms vary depending on the hotel you visit. Some offer rooms consisting of a double bed with two singles, while others have a sofa bed and a double bed. For those travelling with a baby, some hotels offer cots free of charge. If you need to add a cot to your family room, simply give us a call and leave all the arrangements to us.
When travelling with children, you will need a hotel that caters for the whole family. The Gatwick Hilton has been working with child nutritionist Annabel Karmel to create a new kids' menu. Children under the age of 10 also eat free, a real money saver for parents before the holiday begins.
Alternatively, you could visit the Gatwick Russ Hill. This hotel features excellent value meals served between 5pm and 10pm, ideal for the whole family. Better still, it's friendly on the wallet, saving you money to spend on holiday.
Remember, you can also book hotel meals in advance as part of our hotel upgrades. For example, booking your evening meal at the Gatwick Hilton in advance enables you to save £14.95 per person. Look out for our full selection of hotel upgrades during the booking process.
Travelodge Everything was ok except my son and girlfriend was given the family room instead of my daughter and family as we arrived at different times but staff sorted this problem out without any fuss so everyone was happy.

Holiday Inn All OK, but we thought family room would have one double and 2 single beds, not 2 doubles.

Travelodge Very easy online booking experience, great value for parking and overnight stay in a family room @ the travel lodge. Would definitely use again next year. Only slight confusion we did have was our paperwork said we were booked to park at Airparks but the sign for the car park is purple parking so we drove past a few times as it was very dark.

Hilton The room at the Gatwick Hilton was great, ideal family room so spacious. Car parking was a dream so easy within walking distance or a really easy bus ride (we did both) and all such great value.

Holiday Inn Everything was fine but the family room that we booked had a double camp bed which was uncomfortable as springs were coming through. Also restaurant expensive

Russ Hill family room and service very good. I just found the car parking rather unorganised and feel it needs laying out better.

Holiday Inn The second bed in the family room was a bit uncomfortable as the mattress was not very thick.

Russ Hill Great large family room, but slightly noisy (pipes and water from surrounding rooms). Bus to collect car at end of holiday only runs once an hour so can mean quite a wait, but all went very smoothly and would use again.
