Holiday Inn we booked a family room for 4 but it was a normal double room with a fold up sofa bed .The mattress had seen better days and the sofa bed was unstable and was very uncomfortable.Once you pulled out the sofa bed you didn't have much room to move for 4 people

Hilton We stayed at the Hilton gatwick. The room was very dated and we had to keep asking reception for tea facilities, bathroom stuff, towels and pillows for 3 people as we had booked a family room. It took 2 phone calls and 1 visit to the reception to get the things that should have been in our room. Everything seemed to be a problem and the staff made us feel uncomfortable. Not the start that we wanted to our holiday. I feel that because people stay there for 1 night only, you are not valued as a customer. This comment is not anything against holiday extras, it is directed to the Hilton hotel gatwick.

Hilton Arrived at midnight so most of rooms were taken, given a family room, this was a. little tired, nothing like the room we stayed in last year, a little disappointed. Breakfast was very good.

Sandman Signature Booked and paid for two rooms (one with parking, one without). On arrival found we had been allocated a family room with four beds (not available at time of booking). No problems with giving us a second room when we pointed out we had paid for two.

Europa We arrived late on 1st Feb given a family room but unfortunately it needed some TLC carpet was threadbare and wallpaper coming off, beds were clean and fresh, breakfast was good. Staff were good. Will still use this hotel as easy to get to airport. We are staying again in March.

Ramada Crawley Gatwick Can't complain about a thing. When we arrived at our hotel at around 9pm our room was on the first floor but there was no lift! The reception kindly gave the 2 of us a family room on the ground floor at no extra cost. I use both Gatwick and Southampton for parking. A great service.

Copthorne Effingham The rooms require a revamp. There is no air con. The radiators were off, but the room was too hot. It was a big family room which was great for us. The restaurant was shut. There was a very small bar area with some snacks. Requires improvement here. We went to a local pub to eat. Was ok for the price we paid with the onsite parking.

Holiday Inn Worth All as described but difficult to find motorway to leave on return. family room is actually small double sofa bed so not really appropriate for 11 and 9 yo

Courtyard by Marriott Great airport stay and park hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, spacious and comfortable family room. Short, easy walk to South Terminal. Car drop off easy. Definitely will use again.

Russ Hill Staff told us we had booked a double and not a family room and when we told them we booked a family room through holiday extras they said that was why. There were no family rooms! When we insisted on our booked family room they somehow found one which was fine

Hilton the gatwick hilton was very good,they upgraded us ton 2 interconnecting rooms as they had run out of family rooms

Arora Very conveniently situated. Much better than most of the airport hotels and parking facilities are very good as Maple Manor are always prompt when meeting you back at the terminal. family rooms are great and food is very good! We would highly recommend this hotel and its facilities!
