If you're looking for a hotel that offers value for money and is comfortable, up-to-date and close to the airport, you'll love the Holiday Inn Express London Stansted Airport. You won't find some of the frills and fancies of other Stansted hotels; after all, the Holiday Inn Express is a limited-service hotel, but the free buffet breakfast, the free lounge-area wifi and the fact that it's five minutes from the airport could make it seem otherwise.
Rooms at the Holiday Inn Express are designed to help you get a flawless night's sleep: all are climate controlled and double glazed, with blackout curtains and you can choose your own pillows. If you're feeling a little more sociable and don't want to spend the whole time in your room, you can soak up the jovial atmosphere of the hotel's lively lounge, which doubles up as the bar and restaurant.
The Holiday Inn Express is an attractive choice for families. It has more than 60 bedrooms that sleep two adults and two small children, plus there are a number of connecting rooms for larger groups. The hotel offers free breakfast to all guests, and under 13s get a free three-course meal with each adult who buys a main course - so parents won't have to dip far into the holiday budget.
We recommend the Express by Holiday Inn Stansted for:
Families - with the 'kids eat free' offer and free breakfast for all, parents will have plenty left over for holiday treats!.
The budget-conscious - it's one of our lowest-priced hotels at Stansted and with extras like the free wifi and free breakfast, you really are getting a whole lot more for your money.
A sound night's sleep - double glazing, blackout curtains, comfy beds and a choice of either soft or firm pillows are bound to help you catch some much-needed ZZZs.
When we arrived the bus was dropping people off at the hotel door. It would have been better if we were told that the bus to the airport in the morning would leave from outside the petrol station.Miss Wadsworth (Stansted Holiday Inn Express)
Hotel was freezing, we had to eat our dinner in our coats, family room very small, not very pleased that my children had to share a bed = 0 sleepMrs Laws (Stansted Holiday Inn Express)
Very basic hotel but sufficient for our needs.Mr Chapman (Stansted Holiday Inn Express)
Would have liked tea making facilities in the room but there were ample drinks available at breakfast.
Parking at hotel was easy but I would imagine it to be very full in busier times so may have to park away from Hotel which would be another inconvenience .
Transfers were easy and frequent between Hotel and airport.
There was 13 of us all ages and we all had a fantastic time. we had a beer before heading to bed and what a good night sleep we all had. The breakfast was wonderful there was some think for every to eat. We would definitely recommend holiday extras to people 10 out 10 for service. Thank you once again.Mrs Presley (Stansted Holiday Inn Express)
Allow the older passengers to get out of car before letting someone else park close -- was unable to open car door... had to pull forward to let passenger out , reverse and then squeeze myself out!Mrs Green (Stansted Holiday Inn Express)
