Airlines are slashing fares to offer tempting holiday deals to destinations around the globe.
Low fares airline easyJet has announced a spring sale offering up to 25% off flights between February 4th and July 15th. This is the airlines biggest ever sale, with reduced fares on 16 million seats, including flights during the half-term holiday, Valentines weekend, and Easter.
The lower fares are available on 400 easyJet routes, including flights to popular holiday destinations such as Majorca, Tenerife, Faro, Malaga and Nice. But youll need to hurry to grab a holiday bargain as the easyJet sale ends at midnight on Tuesday February 3rd.
Accommodation is available at over 15,000 hotels and apartments in Europe in the easyJetHotels sale. There are savings of up to 50% to be had for stays until October 31st. And if you want to book a hire car as well, easyJets car hire partner Europcar is offering a free upgrade on car rentals booked for collection between February 4th and July 15th.
Long haul airline Virgin Atlantic also has a flight sale for anyone looking for a holiday further afield. Return flights to New York start from £279 in economy class. Elsewhere in the US, Virgin is offering fares to Los Angeles from £339 and to Las Vegas from £369.
With holidays in the Caribbean particularly popular at this time of year, Virgin Atlantic also has special fares to this desirable location. Flights to Antigua start from £479 return, while flights to Barbados are priced from £499, and to Kingston, Jamaica from £449.
Virgins Red Hot fares are available until February 17th for economy and premium economy seats, and until February 24th for Upper Class fares.
Last November AirAsia announced special flight deals on its new service from Stansted airport to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Now the airline has another budget deal, with flights from Stansted to KL priced at just £149.
This special offer applies to flights between March 11th and May 10th. Kuala Lumpur offers cheap flight connections to more than 56 destinations around Asia. The city can also be a useful stopover point for travel to Australia and New Zealand.
