easyJet, the UK's largest airline, has announced plans to bring forward its expansion at Manchester Airport, a move which will see new flights to Corfu, Athens, Bastia and Dalaman now available from May 21, 2009, as opposed to August.

Fares for the new routes start from just £22.99 including tax, with seats on sale at easyJet.com from March 23, 2009.

The expansion will also see additional aircraft based at Manchester and increase in the frequency of flights to popular destinations including Alicante, Malaga, Malta, Paphos and Tenerife.

Carly Brear, UK commercial manager of easyJet, said: "This is great news for the North West. Not only does our additional aircraft mean more jobs and more visitors to the region, but is means that customers in the North West can now take advantage of even more of easyJet's famously low fares to the summer hotspots across Europe, with the care and convenience when flying from their local airport."

easyJet has joined forces with Holiday Extras to offer customers exceptional value airport parking to complement the low-cost airfares.
