Four new Belfast services from easyJet
EasyJet will launch four new routes from Belfast International airport this week.
Low-fares airline easyJet is preparing to launch four new services from Belfast International airport this week, which will bring its total number of routes from the hub to 23.
The carrier will open its first new link, to Gdansk in Poland, on October 30th.
Flights to Prague and Venice will begin on November 1st before the final new service, to Barcelona, takes off on November 3rd.
EasyJet, which claims to be the biggest low-fares airline in Northern Ireland, expects to carry over 140,000 passengers on these routes in the next 12 months.
David Osborne, the airline's general manager for the UK, said: "Increasing the number of easyJet routes from Belfast International to 23 further cements our commitment to the region and its people.
"We have been in Northern Ireland for nine years and we intend to keep expanding for many years to come."
EasyJet will carry nearly 3.3 million people from Belfast in the next year - a new aircraft will be stationed at the airport to handle rising passenger numbers.
