A new direct flight from London Gatwick to the island of Grand Bahama has been launched in the UK.

JMC's service from Gatwick to Freeport will fly every Tuesday, taking UK passengers to the sunny beaches and green palm trees. Tourism to Grand Bahama has, up to now, mainly come from the States, but now numbers from the UK are expected to rise.

As well as offering sun drenched beaches and tropical surroundings, the island is increasing it's number of golf courses in bid to lure players seeking a round in paradise.
