EasyCruise has revealed its line up of new cruise holidays for 2009 which will include visits to the Greek islands of Crete and Rhodes for the first time.
New for 2009 is a 7 night cruise around the Aegean Islands, Crete and Turkey departing on dates between June 20th and October 10th. Passengers have the option of joining the cruise at Athens or Bodrum, and other ports of call are Mykonos, Kos, Rhodes, Crete and Syros.
An alternative is the 14 night Great Aegean Escape departing from Rhodes between June 24th and October 14th and calling at Kalymnos and Paros in addition to the ports on the seven day cruise.
Carnival revellers will welcome another of the new cruise holiday options from easyCruise. The four night Carnival in Patras cruise departs from Piraeus, departure port for Athens, on February 27th and visits Itea in addition to Patras.
The Patras Carnival is the most famous in Greece and is said to be one of the best in Europe. The cruise ship will remain in the harbour at Patras for two full days and nights so passengers can enjoy the complete carnival experience, culminating in the symbolic burning of the carnival king.
For the first time in summer 2009 easyCruise is introducing a new pricing model. Because of demand from customers for pre-purchased optional extras, all quoted prices will include accommodation, a half board meal plan and daily housekeeping. Previously meals were optional and booked separately. Prices for a seven night cruise start from £179 per person based on two people sharing a compact inside cabin.
easyCruise says it is also the only cruise line to give passengers the chance to enjoy all day and night at each destination, allowing them time to explore the local attractions, relax on the beach and sample the local nightlife.
