Glastonbury line-up revealed

June, 2007

With less than a month to go before this year's Glastonbury Festival, organisers have released an official list of the band that will be performing at the enormous music festival.

This year over 177,000 people are expected to attend the festival at Worthy Farm near Glastonbury in Somerset between June 22nd and June 24th.

Organisers confirmed that Arctic Monkeys, the Killers and the Who will be the bands to headline the main Pyramid Stage at this year's festival.

Other acts lined up to play the Pyramid Stage include The Fratellis, Bloc Party, The Magic Numbers and Amy Winehouse on the Friday. Acts due to play the stage on Saturday and Sunday include Kaiser Chiefs, Manic Street Preachers and Shirley Bassey.

However, the Other Stage also boasts a line up that most other festivals would kill for. The headline acts are going to be Bjork, The Stooges and the Chemical Brothers.

Some of the other acts ready to rock the Other Stage are Mika, The View and The Go! Team.

When tickets for the festival went on sale earlier in the year, they sold out in less than two hours, despite the fact fans had to pre-register and provide photo ID to beat touts.
