Regional airline Flybe made additional seats available on flights to Paris this weekend following massive demand for transport to the French capital for the Rugby World Cup final.
England unexpectedly secured a spot in the final match of the tournament, leading many fans to leave their travel arrangements until the last minute.
Flybe said that almost 1,000 additional seats were made available from its regional hubs across the UK, including Birmingham, Belfast, Cardiff, Manchester and Edinburgh.
The airline will be using its second largest aircraft to carry extra passengers from some hubs in what it described as a "direct result of the overwhelming demand" for tickets to Paris.
Mike Rutter, chief commercial officer of the carrier, said: "Flybe is showing its support of the English rugby champions by pulling out all the stops to increase services to Paris Charles de Gaulle, giving thousands of rugby fans the chance to be there when the team retains the coveted title."
England will contest the 2007 Rugby World Cup final against South Africa at the Stade de France on Sunday evening.
