Celebrate culture at the Sydney Festival
The Sydney Festival, the city's annual cultural celebration, will take place in January next year.
Visitors to Sydney in the new year will be able to experience the full diversity of culture and entertainment on offer in the modern world at the annual Sydney Festival.
Every year this event entertains the Australian city with a range of shows, plays, exhibitions and other cultural expositions.
This year one of the main attractions will be a performance by Icelandic pop superstar Bjork, who will be playing on the steps of the Sydney Opera House on January 23rd.
Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys will also be entertaining the crowds with a full rendition of the seminal Pet Sounds album, while De La Soul will be keeping the hip-hop contingent happy.
There will also be a number of entertainment options for the family, including the 'haircuts by children' show, where people are invited to have their locks chopped for free by ten-year-olds who have received training from professionals.
The Sydney Festival will be held at various points throughout the city between January 5th and 26th.
